The Blueprint Project - Competition Terms & Conditions
Introduction
1.1 The Blueprint Project competition ("Competition") is conducted by Amanda Jenkins Blue trading as ‘Blue Music Services’ (ABN: 78 830 820 162) ("Organiser").
1.2 By entering the Competition, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions set out herein ("T&Cs") and confirm that you have read and understood the eligibility and submission requirements.
Eligibility
2.1 You acknowledge that to be eligible to enter into the Competition you are, as at the date of entering the Competition.
(a) an Australian citizen or permanent resident;
(b) aged 18 years or older;
(c) an independent music artist or band (not signed to a record label);
(d) not an employee, contractor, or immediate family member of the Organiser; and
(e) not a current or former client of the Organiser.
2.2 You agree to provide the Organiser with proof of the above eligibility requirements upon reasonable request.
Submission Requirements
3.1 Submissions for the Competition must include the following to be eligible for consideration in the Competition:
(a) A short artist biography (maximum 200 words) detailing background, influences, and prior releases or performances.
(b) Links to active social media profiles and/or music platforms (e.g., SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Spotify) to showcase your work and engagement.
(c) At least one genre tag (e.g., house, techno, drum and bass) to assist in categorisation and judging.
(d) Optional creative assets such as artwork concepts, visuals, or a mood board that aligns with the track’s aesthetic.
(e) Up to two (2) original tracks in high-quality WAV or 320kbps MP3 format to ensure clarity and professional sound quality. (“Submission”)
3.2 All Submissions must be received by 5pm AEST Friday 30th May 2025. Late Submissions will not be considered under any circumstances.
3.3 By submitting a Submission for the Competition, you warrant that:
(a) all intellectual property within the Submission (including copyright) is entirely original, or that you otherwise hold the rights to the intellectual property within the Submission for the purpose of submitting it for the Competition;
(b) the Submission does not infringe any third-party rights; and
(c) the recordings and musical works within your Submission are not assigned to, or under a license to a record label or music publisher.
Judging Criteria
4.1 A panel of industry professionals, selected by the Organiser (“Judges”), will assess each Submission based on the criteria outlined in clause 4.2 below.
4.2 You acknowledge that the Competition is a game of skill. The winner will be selected by the Judges in their full discretion based on artistic merit, originality, production quality, musicality, and overall impact.
4.3 You acknowledge that the Judges’ decisions are final, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained regarding the results.
Prize & Winner Notification
If you are selected as the winner:
5.1 you will be notified via email or phone and must confirm acceptance within 7 days. If you do not confirm acceptance within this timeframe, an alternate winner may be selected.
5.2 If accepted in accordance with clause 5.1 you will receive a PR and marketing package from Blue Music Services, Sennheiser headphones - HD 490 PROs, and HD 25s, artist management consult with Gabe Bravo (Cloak Ent), distribution / strategy consult with Sarah Hamilton (Golden Hour), packshot design by Josh Hart-Vrijkotte, A&R feedback from Luude & Anna Lunoe, and an opening set at a show or festival presented by Untitled Group (the “Prize”). Notwithstanding, the Organiser reserves the right to modify or substitute the Prize in the event it is unable to deliver the Prize as described above for any reason.
5.3 one of the tracks from your Submission may be featured on the Organiser’s promotional channels, including social media and website. Accordingly, you grant to the Organiser a license for this purpose.
5.4 the delivery date of the Prize is to be advised by the Organiser and may not be presented to you at time of announcement.
5.5 you cannot transfer the Prize to another person.
Use of Personal Information
6.1 You agree that the Organiser may use your name, image, and the musical works and recordings within your Submission for the purposes of this Competition.
6.2 You acknowledge that your contact details may be shared with sponsors of the Competition for marketing and promotional activities.
6.3 Personal information collected by the Organiser will be handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws and will not be sold or distributed to unauthorised third parties.
Disqualification & Liability
7.1 The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify Submissions that do not comply with these T&Cs, contain offensive content, or are suspected of plagiarism.
7.2 The Organiser is not responsible for any lost, late, corrupted, or misdirected Submissions.
7.3 The Organiser is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Competition, including but not limited to issues related to travel, equipment failure, or data breaches.
7.4 The Organiser makes no representations about the Prize and shall not be liable for any loss or damage you may claim to suffer in relation to the Prize.
General
8.1 The Organiser reserves the right to modify or cancel the Competition at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to technical issues, legal concerns, or insufficient entries.
8.2 You acknowledge that these T&Cs are legally binding and may be accepted by you digitally. In any event, you will be bound by these T&Cs by submitting your Submission to the Organiser.
8.3 These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Victoria, Australia.
8.4 These T&Cs embodies the entire agreement and understanding between the parties concerning its subject matter.
8.5 Neither party will be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations pursuant to these T&Cs if the delay is due to a Force Majeure event.
8.6 The relationship between the parties is that of independent contractors and nothing herein shall be deemed to create a partnership, joint venture or any other type of legal relationship.
